Maple Grove Real Estate - Housing Statistics - October 2007
November 27th, 2007 Categories: Maple Grove Current Housing Statistics, Real Estate News
October’s real estate statistics put out by the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors say a little about what’s going on with the housing market. Not all areas in the Twin Cities are stagnant and not all areas are in an unhealthy market.
That’s not to say everything’s perfect. A sneaky peek in to Maple Grove’s recent real estate economy shows that
not only is it an economically thriving city, it has withstood the pain that other cities around Minneapolis and St. Paul are enduring.

Maple Grove Realtors are smart, we know the value of pricing a home properly!
Here’s the stunning part…sales are down in October only 1.4% from last year. For all of the doom and gloom we’re hearing, that’s pretty meager. Also, sellers are receiving 93.3% of their original asking price. That may mean that the Realtors in Maple Grove are really smart and price the home properly.
Or, maybe it means that there really are still buyers out there…it’s just that the folks in Maple Grove put their feet down and hold out for the price that makes sense to them. Simply put, any house will sell if the price is right. That’s no secret.
Stay tuned for future market statistics. I will be profiling all the cities in the greater Minneapolis - St. Paul on a monthly basis. Feel free to subscribe to these updates via email alerts or rss.
