Ah, Golden Valley. The very sound of it makes one think of a rich and bountiful community. One would be correct. It’s got some great shopping, the Golden Valley Country Club, proximity to downtown Minneapolis (10 minutes max) and some downright beautiful homes.
Let me tell you about one of the beautiful homes that I know about.
7200 Glenwood Avenue is a 1970s rambler sitting on a lush, wooded lot on a no-through section of Glenwood Avenue. You can walk to the Golden Valley Country Club, various nearby churches, restaurants and shopping. The lovely couple who lives there have been there for many years and have kept it meticulously maintained. There are hardwood floors throughout the home, too! Walk out from the basement into the private back yard and enjoy the view.
