Oakwood Elementary, Plymouth, MN History and Hoopla!

Announcing a community open house and all-school reunion!

The lucky alumni of Oakwood Elementary in Plymouth, MN gets together on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to share stories and memorabilia from the past 50 years of learning.

Spiritwear? Newsletters? Photos? Yearbooks? The bunch that is putting this together would like to borrow your stuff for the displays. All of your items will be returned!

There is also going to be a commemorative cookbook that will be available via the celebration website or at the open house. Submit recipes to debmusser@hotmail.com by August 21st. Yowser! That’s right around the corner!

Reason #1 Why Plymouth, MN is Rated for Best Places to Live in the U.S.

I haven’t been able to drink coffee for several years due to my sensitivity to caffeine. A couple of months ago, I’d thought I’d give it a try just to see how I felt.My Favorite Cup of Coffee

I had a couple of gift cards to Caribou and Starbuck’s. I just like good ole’ black coffee. None of this fru fru stuff for me! The coffee was good. Just good. Nothing to rave about. The good news was that it wasn’t affecting me like it used to.

Silly Property Repairs In North Minneapolis

One of the Realtors that blogs has some great posts about stupid property repairs here in the Minneapolis area. I am blatantly copying his idea, but instead of calling it “stupid property repairs”, I’ll just call it “silly property repairs.” (Scott, consider it a compliment!)

Here’s a silly repair that my client and I found in North Minneapolis this week.Mini Door Knob I call it Mini Door Knob. This was the only way to get the storm door open to get to the front door.

It’s always good times in North, that’s all I have to say!
